What this policy covers
Safe Seal Respirator Fit Testing provides respirator and mask fit testing to workplaces across New South Wales. This page explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who sees it and how to ask us about it.
What we collect
Almost everything we hold is information a client or a worker has given us so that we can do the testing.
When you use the enquiry form on this website we collect your name, your email address, your phone number and whatever you write in the message.
When you use the booking form we also collect your company or organisation, the site address, the suburb and the region where testing is needed, how many people need fit testing, the type of fit testing you want, and your preferred and alternative dates.
When we carry out fit testing on site we record the worker’s name, the make, model and size of the respirator tested, and the result. A fit test result is only valid for the specific model and size tested, which is why we record those alongside the name.
We do not ask for payment card details, government identifiers or medical records through this website.
Why we collect it
To quote for the work, arrange a booking, reach the right site on the right day, carry out the test and issue the result. Fit testing exists to meet a legal obligation, so a result has to name the person it belongs to, or it is worth nothing to the employer who has to keep it.
Who we share it with
Personal information collected during fit testing is used solely for reporting and compliance purposes and is not shared with third parties unless required by law.
Fit test results are provided to the client who engaged us and to the worker who was tested. Where an employer arranges testing for their staff, the employer receives the results for those staff, because the employer is the one carrying the record-keeping obligation.
How long we keep it
We do not store fit test results unless you specifically ask us to. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure annual re-testing and record-keeping compliance.
Enquiry and booking details stay in our email and booking records so that we can answer questions about a job after it is finished.
This website
Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA. Google collects information about your visit in order to tell a person apart from an automated script. That is covered by Google’s privacy policy and terms of service.
We use website analytics, which report how many people visited which pages. Analytics of that kind report on visits, not on identified individuals.
Your browser may store small files called cookies, which let the site work properly and let reCAPTCHA do its job. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may then stop working.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Asking about your information
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us on 0427 835 607 or at info@safeseal.com.au. We will need enough detail to find the record and to be confident we are talking to the right person.
If you are not happy with how we have handled it
Tell us first, using the details above. If you are still not satisfied, you can take the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when what we do changes. This version was published in September 2026.
