What we are aiming for
We want anyone to be able to use this site: people who browse with a screen reader, people who use a keyboard rather than a mouse, people who need larger text, and people who need strong contrast to read comfortably.
The site is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We have not had it independently audited against every criterion in that standard, so we are telling you what we have done rather than claiming a certificate.
What we have built in, and checked
Each of these was measured on the finished site rather than assumed.
- Every page has one main heading, and heading levels run in order without skipping, so a screen reader can move through a page by its structure.
- Every image carries alternative text, or an empty alt where the image is decorative and repeating it would only get in the way.
- Text and background colour pairs were measured against the WCAG AA contrast minimums, including text sitting over photographs.
- Every page works at 390 pixels wide with no sideways scrolling, which is what makes it usable on a phone and at high browser zoom.
- The navigation, the links and the forms can all be operated with a keyboard alone, and the element you are on is marked with a visible outline. A “skip to content” link is the first thing you reach, so you do not have to tab through the menu on every page.
- Form fields have labels that stay visible while you type, and required fields are marked.
Where we know it can get in your way
Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which is a third-party control we do not write. If a reCAPTCHA challenge is difficult for you, do not fight it. Call us on 0427 835 607 instead.
If something here does not work for you
Tell us and we will fix it. You do not have to explain why or prove anything.

Tell us which page you were on and what you were trying to do. That is usually enough for us to find it.
